Product updates February 2024

We are back with our (almost) monthly article to share updates at Playlist Rankings. While December has been a little bit slower development wise, a lot of things happened in the background in January to improve our performance and scalability. The platform is now ready for more users, more keywords, more playlists! Thanks to all these behind-the-scene improvements, we will soon be able to reduce our prices to make the tool more affordable for everyone. More to come about this later this month!
Now let's go through the recent additions.

Related keywords

On the keyword page, we have added a new tab that you may find useful. For a given keyword, it will give you the list of keywords for which those playlists also rank. That's useful if you are looking for alternative keywords to target, that may have less competition.

Weekly report emails

Starting this Friday, if you're a paying user and have added playlists in your dashboard, you will receive a report email. This email will recap all new keywords and rankings for your playlists this week.

You can easily disable the email report from your dashboard, playlist by playlist so that it only contains the data you need. We will soon allow for more settings, so if there is anything you would like to customize, just reply to this email and let us know.

Position evolution in the rankings

On the playlist page, it will now be easier to see if a ranking is improving or if it's a brand new keyword you're ranking for.

We have added badges so that you can see this evolution, by default compared to the position 7 days ago. You can also switch to a period of 28 days if you prefer long term changes.

In the future we will add filters to improve the user experience. For example, if you want to see only the new rankings compared to 7 days ago in just a click, that will be possible.
